In 2000 American Panel Corporation and LG.Philips LCD (LPL) signed a 12 year Long Term Agreement (LTA) defining an Exclusive World-wide Agreement for the Design & Manufacture of Custom AMLCD Cells for Aircraft, Shipboard, and Rugged Environment Ground Vehicle Use.

LPL is a joint venture between LG Electronics and Royal Philips Electronics and is headquarted in Seoul, South Korea.
